Introduction
The City Treasurer is appointed by the Mayor with the advice and consent of the City Council. The Treasurer is responsible for ensuring public funds are accounted for properly and managed in accordance with State law. All City accounts are overseen by the Treasurer. Hurricane's Treasurer also handles accounts payable for all City departments.
