Community Center Information

Community Center

The Community Center includes the Community Center building, the Performing Arts Building, and the outside park area surrounding both buildings. Each building has rooms available to rent for meetings, family reunions, luncheons, classes, birthday parties, or other special events. The kitchen in the Community Center is not set up for cooking, but can be used to serve from. For room reservations or questions you can call 635-2609 between the hours of 11:00am and 8:00pm Monday - Friday.  We welcome your calls.

Drop In Game Center

The Community Center is looking for donations of game boards, not limited to but including, Air Hocky, Foose Ball, Billiards, etc. If anyone is willing to donate these items please contact Don or Marie at 635-2609.


Splash Pad Fundraiser

Splash Pad T-Shirts (logo at right) are now on sale for $10 to help fund the splash pad to be installed at the Community Center. Many sizes are available.

Look for the Splash Pad volunteers at many upcoming events. If you would be interested in helping with the fundraising efforts at these events please contact Paula Arriola at 635-4426.


Future Plans for the Community Center and Grounds

Plans are underway to refurbish and put this property to good use for the benefit of the community. The non-profit Form Tomorrow organization has completed the development of a master plan for the re-use of both the former Elementary School complex and Fine Arts Building for the city. On January 20th, 2011 the City Council approved the first phase landscape plans presented by the Parks Department. You can view this plan by clicking this here.
